Owing to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic the 2021 ACPPLD Annual Learning Event will be an online event once again. This virtual programme will be held on Tuesday 9th and Wednesday 10th November 2021 and will once again be a combined event with British Society of Rehabilitation Medicine (BSRM) and Society of Research in Rehabilitation (SRR)
The Learning event aims to offer members an inspiring and thought provoking research and clinical programme. There will be presentations from national and international rehabilitation experts including plenty of LD specific content as well. The programme for the event is accessible on the link below and Applications are now open on the BRSM website - BSRM Events - BSRM
The Programme has excellent speakers on osteoporosis, frailty, spasticity, contractures, and health care technology for people with long term conditions, including experts in healthcare for people with learning disabilities. The programme incorporates recorded presentations to improve quality and avoid technical glitches and live Q&A with speakers and experts. There are also some informal interactive sessions, such as one on maintaining health and avoiding frailty, to share delegate ideas and expertise. There will be a virtual poster hall and exhibitor space and hopefully some chat rooms to catch up with colleagues.
The 2021 ACPPLD AGM will be held at 12.30 on Wednesday 10th November - relevant documents will be posted soon.
The whole conference will be recorded and available for delegates to watch later so even if you can't attend the two days 'live' book now and get access to all the recordings to watch at your leisure.
Full price tickets for non members are £115 but ACPPLD members receive a discounted rate of £65.
