Speech and Language research priorities for LD

The Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) have recently launched their ‘top 10 priorities’ for research in  Learning Disabilities. Some of these overlap with Physiotherapy so we thought members may be interested to see them

The Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) is the professional body for speech and language therapists in the UK. They have recently embarked on a research priority setting project for speech and language therapy and learning disabilities and have launched the ‘top 10 priorities’. These priorities have been developed collaboratively with service users, families, carers and other professionals.

They would be grateful if you were able to support them with the following:
· Share the priorities with your networks & colleagues
· Consider co- producing information for service users
· Consider the priorities with regards to future work plans
· Letting them know of any ongoing work that is of relevance to this project

The top 10 list is linked below:

You can find out more information about the project on this page or on twitter by following @RCSLTResearch and the hashtag #LDresearch.

You can also contact project assistant Joowon Kim at joowon.kim@rcslt.org or by phone on 0207 378 3024.
