Queens Birthday Honour for Learning Disability Physiotherapist

We are delighted to announce that Learning Disability Physiotherapist, Christine Hughes has been awarded a British Empire Medal (BEM) in the Queens birthday honour list

Chris has worked in Learning Disabilities for many years and was an active member of ACPPLD until her recent retirement. She was also the regional representative for the North Wales ACPPLD region. She retired from her full time role in the Learning Disability team in Wrexham, North Wales, in 2014 but has continued working part time to support adults with Learning Disabilities. She has received a British Empire Medal (BEM) for her services to people with learning disabilities. The full story of her honour is in the latest edition of Frontline:
