Physiotherapy staff in Fife, Scotland spent Learning Disability week promoting access to mainstream healthcare for people with Learning Disabilities
Learning Disability Week 2016 saw the launch of the ACPPLD booklet - 'So your next patient has a Learning Disability' and LD Physio staff in Fife decided to make this the focus of their efforts last week. The booklet was sent to all Physiotherapy staff across Fife and to other Professions team leads that may benefit from its advice. This was then followed up with visits by specialist LD staff, to a number of Physio teams departments across the week to highlight the booklet and have short Q&A sessions.

The booklet was well recieved by Mainstream Physiotherapy colleagues and there was some interesting discussions during the Q&A sessions.
