The 2016 ACPPLD Annual Learning Event was held last week in York - 26th & 27th September.
The event was a great success and grateful thanks go to all those involved in the organisation of the event. There were lots of interesting lectures and a successful 'regional shout out' section where we heard about a number of areas of good practice from across the UK. The competitive streak of LD physios shone through in the evening networking/games session and those feeling energetic and wishing some fresh air, enjoyed the sights of York at night on a ghost walk.
The business of the AGM went without a hitch and we said goodbye to our longstanding CPD Officer, Carrie Marrow, whilst also welcoming 2 new members onto the executive committee for the coming year.
At the end of the event the Rose Bowl was handed over to the North West regional rep - Rona Leftwich. The North West region will be hosting the 2017 Learning Event. A full report of the event will be in the next edition of your ACPPLD Newsletter
