The 2018 ACPPLD Annual Learning Event and AGM took place last week on 13th & 14th September, at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London.
The event was organized by the South East region of the ACPPLD and the 2 days were a great success. There were approximately 80 - 90 delegates who enjoyed the variety of presentations and the vast amount of networking that took place was immeasurable. There was also a poster display which showcased 14 pieces of work from all over the UK and we hope to be able to publish these for members to look at in the near future.
A summary of each of the presentations will be available in the next edition of your ACPPLD Newsletter but if you cant wait till then, why not visit our twitter feed @acppld and look back at the tweets from last week.
On behalf of the membership we wish to extend a huge thanks to the South east organizing committee for doing such a great job, we hope you are all enjoying a well earned rest this week. Pictured below are some of the organisers at the end of the Learning event. Sadly David and Victoria are missing from the photo due to other commitments, but our thanks go to each and every one of them
At the end of the event, as has become tradition, the memorial rosebowl was handed on to the organisers of the 2019 Learning event - Scotland Region. Pictured below is Amanda Leech, accepting the rosebowl on behalf of Scotland Region, from Claire Browning, South East regional officer.
