Two Learning Disability Physiotherapy webinars - 22nd July 2020

We would like to advise you of 2 excellent Webinars which are taking place this week for you to join. Unfortunately they are on the same day which may have caused a little confusion for those of you that might have received via email from another source. Both events will be held on Wednesday 22nd July but they are at different times so hopefully some of you will be able to join in with both.

Webinar 1

The first event is being hosted by the South East ACPPLD region but as it is a virtual event this is not restricted to SE members, all ACPPLD members are welcome. The webinar will take place at 12 noon and the topic is: The role of specialist Learning disability physiotherapy in rehabilitation post COVID-19

Webinar 2

The second event is later in the day at 4pm.  This event is being hosted by Dr Ingrid Wilkinson Hart and the Physiotherapy Team at Wiltshire CTPLD in conjunction with Wiltshire Council and the ACPPLD SW2 region (South West England and Wales). The topic for this webinar is: Physical activity and fitness for people with Learning Disabilities; with a focus on individuals with Down Syndrome

This event will be on Microsoft Teams and there is no need to register in advance. Just click this link at 4pm on Wednesday to join. Link to Webinar

There will be a presentation for about 1 hour followed by a Q&A finishing by 5.30pm It will be recorded and posted online afterwards.
