ACPPLD Scotland technology success

The Scotland Regional group of ACPPLD this week held a study session via videoconferencing for the first time

Given the issues with time and cost of travelling to study events from across Scotland it was decided to try holding a Learning session via videoconferencing for the first time. Scotland region are already experienced at holding our AGM this way but dipping the toe in the water of learning via this method, was a complete new challenge. The event was a success with 31 people accessing the 2 hour learning session using 5 different VC locations. The topic was Palliative care pathway for people with Learning disabilites and the speaker was Alison O'Donnell, LD Nurse. Pictured is a screenshot from the end of the session, of all the sites involved.

There are more details in the regional events feedback forms within the documents section, and if any other region is keen to hear how this went or to learn from our experience please contact members of the Scottish committee (details on regions pages).
